|My fascination with real estate began decades ago watching my Italian-American grandmother invest in real estate. With limited means and a great deal of determination, she acquired a small piece of land on Staten Island, NY. She constructed a small apartment building on the property, which she alone managed and leased. Her entrepreneurial spirit was inspiring and the positive results that the property generated for herself and her family lasted for years. It was from her example that I first started to appreciate the benefits of real estate investing and ownership. I am proud of what she was able to accomplish.
Years later, I began my career in Dallas and started by working on commercial real estate matters for the largest commercial bank in the state. I subsequently joined one of the top firms in the state and represented real estate investors, bank regulators, developers, builders and even first-time home-buyers. It provided a wealth of experience that brought me to NWA 14 years ago as an in-house lawyer serving the rapidly growing real estate department.
One lesson I have learned from the 30 years of experience, whenever you get the chance to work in an area you enjoy, it unleashes a passion for the work you are doing and an energy that drives you. Transitioning to real estate salesperson represents another such opportunity for me, and I am excited about bringing that experience and energy to bear on behalf of my growing clientele.
